Meet the team

Jason Henry is a registered Specialist in Oral Surgery. Jason is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons, Association of Dental Implantology, the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry, the British Dental Association and the Irish Academy for Aesthetic Dentistry.

Jason combines his extensive surgical experience and creative restorative skills to help referring dentists and colleagues at Rosconnor Clinic manage the more difficult day to day cases referred to the Practice. He helps provide treatment solutions for cases requiring advanced bone augmentation, sinus grafting and guided tissue regeneration.

Over the last 15 years Jason has been involved in post-graduate teaching of dentists and nurses on registered courses for Dental Sedation, Oral surgery and Dental Implantology. He is an examiner with the NEBDN for the Diploma in Dental Sedation Nursing Sedation. He is also an accredited trainer for Specialist Registrars in Oral Surgery and is involved in training programmes for SpR’s in Oral Surgery based at the School of Dentistry, Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. He is a past tutor and mentor for the Diploma and Certificate courses in Minor Oral Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

Outside of dentistry he is a competitive amateur racing cyclist and is the current Irish track cycling champion and past Irish cyclocross and track champion in his age category.

Conor studied dentistry at Queen’s University Belfast and was awarded the Irish Endodontic Society undergraduate prize in 2005. After completing foundation training in Edinburgh, he worked in Senior House Officer posts in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery.

Following four years in general dental practice he commenced higher specialist training in Restorative Dentistry in 2013. During training he spent time in Dublin, Manchester and the University of Bern, Switzerland. He also completed postgraduate qualifications in Prosthodontics, Clinical Education and a MPhil research degree. In 2018 he successfully completed specialist training and was accepted onto the General Dental Council specialist list for Restorative Dentistry.

Conor has worked at Rosconnor clinic since 2016 and is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, Belfast. He is also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Queen’s University, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has expertise in all aspects of Restorative Dentistry and uses both restorative and surgical approaches in the multidisciplinary management of patients. He welcomes referrals for fixed and removable prosthodontics, dental implants and endodontics.

Patricia spent 8 postgraduate years in Oral Surgery rotating throughout all Oral Surgery hospital units and acquired vast experience in major trauma surgery consequence of Northern Ireland Troubles. Now enjoying Oral Surgery with no nights on call!

Jamie graduated from Queen’s university Belfast in 2009 and then went on to complete his VT year in Bangor. Jamie continued to work as an associate until 2011 when he then decided to return to the Royal Victoria Hospital as a Dental Foundation Trainee 2 (DF2) in Oral Surgery and Orthodontics.

He then Undertook a Career Development Post in Oral Surgery at the Royal Victoria Hospital 2012-2013. It was during this year that he completed his Certificate in Postgraduate education at Queen’s and his Sedation training through the Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry.

Jamie became an StR (Specialty Trainee) 2013-2016 and passed his membership in Oral Surgery exams and the Royal College of Surgeons of England in June 2016. He then worked as a Locum Speciality Dentist at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Oral Surgery between 2016-2018.

Jamie is also a Consultant Oral Surgeon at the school of Dentistry in Royal Victoria Hospital in July 2018.

Gregor qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2001. In 2004 he was awarded membership of the faculty of dental surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow.

Since qualifying Gregor has worked extensively in general dental practice and a variety of dental specialities including oral and maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry, in Glasgow, Liverpool and Northern Ireland.

Gregor joined the team at Rosconnor Specialist Clinic in January 2017. His main interests are in helping improve the quality of patients’ lives with dental implants.

Rachel studied dentistry at the University of Glasgow and graduated in 2001.

Following 2 years of General Professional Training, she has worked exclusively in the field of oral surgery. Training in Glasgow Dental Hospital, Southern General Hospital, Glasgow and Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock.

In 2004 she passed the diploma of membership of the faculty of dental surgery at the Royal College of surgeons, Edinburgh.

She has been in oral surgery practice since 2007 and relocated back to Ireland and Rosconnor in 2013.

She appreciates that almost everyone is anxious about undergoing oral surgery to some degree, so in 2015 she completed the diploma in conscious sedation at the University of Newcastle. Rachel can offer IV sedation to suitable patients to help them with their anxiety during treatment.

After having graduated from Newcastle University in 2013, Nicola has completed SHO years in Cardiff and Belfast Dental Hospitals in many different specialities including Oral Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. This further Training led to her completing her MFDS exam in 2014.

Having an interest in clinical education, Nicola has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education at Queen’s University in Belfast and is involved in teaching dental students in the School of Dentistry.

Fabiola also known as Fabi, qualified firstly as a Dental Hygienist in 2002 and then as a Dentist in 2009 at Central University of Venezuela, Dental School, Caracas.

She is a dentist with special interest in Periodontics and has experience in non-invasive periodontal therapy.

Committed to providing high quality and results-driven dental treatment, she is friendly and passionate about her role. The key to her success is her ability to take her patients on a journey which results in them delivering long-term stability for themselves. She believes that prevention is always better than cure and she makes the visits an enjoyable and comfortable experience for her patients.

In her spare time, Fabiola loves outdoor activities, travelling and learning new languages. She speaks Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. She is an amateur photographer and coffee aficionado.

She has also taken part at many half-marathons and the Walled City Full Marathon in 2013 and 2014.

Padraig studied at Queens University Belfast and graduated in 2017 and then went on to complete his vocational training year in Derry.

Padraig has completed SHO years in the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Ulster Hospital Dundonald in many different specialties including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. This further training led to him completing his MFDS exam in 2019 and a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Education at Queens University Belfast.

Sara graduated from Queens University in Belfast and has worked in England prior to moving back to Northern Ireland this year. She has worked in very busy NHS practices as well as a fully private dental practice in Chester and subsequently has developed her skills in all aspects of dentistry and really enjoys all aspects of dentistry.

Sara has developed a special interest in Endodontics and has obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Endodontics and is due to complete her Master’s degree in Endodontics this year.

Sara is great at dealing with anxious patients and has a great ability to put patients at ease. In her final year at Queens University, she obtained the Ralph J Smith award for high standards of conservative dentistry and her caring approach to patients.

Rosie graduated from University of Glasgow Dental School in 2010. She then became a Member of Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2012. In 2016 she graduated from University of Manchester with MSc in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry with Merit.

Rosie has a keen interest in Oral Surgery, she worked in this department in Glasgow Dental Hospital and in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Monklands District Hospital. She worked in Queens Dental School supervising students carrying out extractions on the Urgent Student Clinic.

Rosie works at Rosconnor and also works as Senior Dentist in the Community Dental Service in Western Trust treating patients who are medically compromised and those with learning disabilities.

Rosie is friendly and will put you at ease during treatment. She is also qualified to provide IV sedation to help reduce anxiety.

Ciaran graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2013 and following this completed his vocational training year at a practice in Toom bridge.

Ciaran then moved on to work in general practice in Belfast, providing a wide range of treatments for his patients. During this time, he developed a keen interest in implant and restorative dentistry, leading him to study in London for his Foundation in Implant Dentistry with Straumann.

He is a member of the ITI (International team for Implantology) and keeps up to date on the latest developments within implant dentistry.

He is particularly skilful at managing anxious patients and provides sedation to help nervous patients through their course of treatment.

Tracey qualified in 2008 and has 10 years hygiene experience. She is well experienced in treating patients with implants, orthodontic appliances and crown and bridgework.

Tracey is keen to keep up to date with current approaches and undertakes cpd on a regular basis. She has also undertaken additional training in whitening procedures, laser and the provision of relative analgesia for nervous patients.

When not at work Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 boys who are 2, 4 and 7 years old.
