Meet the team

Jason Henry is a registered Specialist in Oral Surgery. Jason is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons, Association of Dental Implantology, the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry, the British Dental Association and the Irish Academy for Aesthetic Dentistry.

Jason combines his extensive surgical experience and creative restorative skills to help referring dentists and colleagues at Rosconnor Clinic manage the more difficult day to day cases referred to the Practice. He helps provide treatment solutions for cases requiring advanced bone augmentation, sinus grafting and guided tissue regeneration.

Over the last 15 years Jason has been involved in post-graduate teaching of dentists and nurses on registered courses for Dental Sedation, Oral surgery and Dental Implantology. He is an examiner with the NEBDN for the Diploma in Dental Sedation Nursing Sedation. He is also an accredited trainer for Specialist Registrars in Oral Surgery and is involved in training programmes for SpR’s in Oral Surgery based at the School of Dentistry, Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. He is a past tutor and mentor for the Diploma and Certificate courses in Minor Oral Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

Outside of dentistry he is a competitive amateur racing cyclist and is the current Irish track cycling champion and past Irish cyclocross and track champion in his age category.

Gregor qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2001. In 2004 he was awarded membership of the faculty of dental surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow.

Since qualifying Gregor has worked extensively in general dental practice and a variety of dental specialities including oral and maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry, in Glasgow, Liverpool and Northern Ireland.

Gregor joined the team at Rosconnor Specialist Clinic in January 2017. His main interests are in helping improve the quality of patients’ lives with dental implants.

Rachel studied dentistry at the University of Glasgow and graduated in 2001.

Following 2 years of General Professional Training, she has worked exclusively in the field of oral surgery. Training in Glasgow Dental Hospital, Southern General Hospital, Glasgow and Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock.

In 2004 she passed the diploma of membership of the faculty of dental surgery at the Royal College of surgeons, Edinburgh.

She has been in oral surgery practice since 2007 and relocated back to Ireland and Rosconnor in 2013.

She appreciates that almost everyone is anxious about undergoing oral surgery to some degree, so in 2015 she completed the diploma in conscious sedation at the University of Newcastle. Rachel can offer IV sedation to suitable patients to help them with their anxiety during treatment.

Fabiola also known as Fabi, qualified firstly as a Dental Hygienist in 2002 and then as a Dentist in 2009 at Central University of Venezuela, Dental School, Caracas.

She is a dentist with special interest in Periodontics and has experience in non-invasive periodontal therapy.

Committed to providing high quality and results-driven dental treatment, she is friendly and passionate about her role. The key to her success is her ability to take her patients on a journey which results in them delivering long-term stability for themselves. She believes that prevention is always better than cure and she makes the visits an enjoyable and comfortable experience for her patients.

In her spare time, Fabiola loves outdoor activities, travelling and learning new languages. She speaks Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. She is an amateur photographer and coffee aficionado.

She has also taken part at many half-marathons and the Walled City Full Marathon in 2013 and 2014.

Padraig studied at Queens University Belfast and graduated in 2017 and then went on to complete his vocational training year in Derry.

Padraig has completed SHO years in the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Ulster Hospital Dundonald in many different specialties including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. This further training led to him completing his MFDS exam in 2019 and a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Education at Queens University Belfast.

Sara graduated from Queen’s University in Belfast where she received the Ralph J. Smith award for her outstanding standards in conservative dentistry and her caring approach to patient care. She began her career working in England in both high-demand NHS practices and a fully private dental practice before returning to Northern Ireland. Her diverse experience has enabled her to develop comprehensive skills across all aspects of dentistry which she enjoys providing to her patients.

Sara has a special interest in Endodontics and after completing a Diploma in this field was subsequently awarded her Master’s degree in Endodontics furthering her expertise in advanced root canal treatments and complex cases. Additionally, Sara has recently obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology allowing her to provide implant solutions to her patients.

She is qualified in IV sedation and excels at making patients feel at ease, especially those with dental anxiety.

Rosie graduated from University of Glasgow Dental School in 2010.She then became a Member of Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2012. In 2016 she graduated from University of Manchester with MSC in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry with Merit.

Rosie has a keen interest in Oral Surgery she worked in this department in Glasgow Dental Hospital and in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Monklands District Hospital. She worked in Queens Dental School supervising students carrying out extractions on the Urgent Student Clinic.

Before joining the team at Rosconnor she worked as a Senior Dentist in the Community Dental Service in Western Trust treating patients who were medically compromised and those with learning disabilities.

Rosie is friendly and will put you at ease during treatment. She is also qualified to provide IV sedation to help reduce anxiety.

Ciaran graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2013 and following this completed his vocational training year at a practice in Toom bridge.

Ciaran then moved on to work in general practice in Belfast, providing a wide range of treatments for his patients. During this time, he developed a keen interest in implant and restorative dentistry, leading him to study in London for his Foundation in Implant Dentistry with Straumann.

He is a member of the ITI (International team for Implantology) and keeps up to date on the latest developments within implant dentistry.

He is particularly skilful at managing anxious patients and provides sedation to help nervous patients through their course of treatment.

Nuala graduated in 2011 from QUB. She has a particular interest in Implants and Cosmetic dentistry. In 2020 she completed a year course in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry with dentist Chris Orr. In 2023 she was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry with One-to-One Dental education in London.

Nuala is currently studying for a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Augmentation. Nuala embraces the use of digital dentistry and uses it where she can. With digital planning she can show patients what their treatment will entail, allowing them to understand and participate in their care.

Nuala is a mum to twin girls and enjoys reformer Pilates in her spare time.

Dr. Gary O’Neill is an award-winning cosmetic and restorative dentist, passionate about delivering world-class dentistry and exceptional patient care. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, advanced clinical skills, and warm, approachable manner, Gary is dedicated to helping patients achieve beautiful, natural smiles.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Newcastle University in 2017, Gary completed multiple postgraduate qualifications, including a Masters degree with Distinction in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry from King’s College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clear Aligner Orthodontics. He is also a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd).

Gary’s clinical expertise includes smile makeovers, porcelain veneers, Invisalign clear aligner orthodontics, composite bonding, and minimally invasive restorative dentistry. His work has been recognised nationally and internationally, earning multiple prestigious awards.

Treatment Philosophy:
Gary is a firm believer in minimally invasive dentistry, aiming to preserve as much of the natural tooth structure as possible while achieving outstanding aesthetic outcomes. He places strong emphasis on orthodontic tooth alignment prior to restorative work, recognising that properly aligned teeth not only enhance cosmetic results but also allow for more conservative, long-lasting treatments such as composite bonding and porcelain veneers.

Lecturing:
In recognition of his clinical skill and commitment to excellence, Gary has been invited to teach and lecture at some of the UK's most prestigious dental universities, including King's College London and the College of Medicine and Dentistry, Birmingham. He lectures postgraduate students on dental photography, smile design, and advanced restorative techniques, helping to shape the next generation of restorative cosmetic dentists.

Gary is also committed to continual learning, regularly attending advanced training courses both in the UK and Internationally to stay at the forefront of modern cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Gary enjoys travelling, photography, music (especially 80s vinyl records), and keeping active with tennis and golf.

Patients value his relaxed, reassuring approach and the pride he takes in helping every individual feel confident with their smile.

Tracey qualified in 2008 and has 10 years hygiene experience. She is well experienced in treating patients with implants, orthodontic appliances and crown and bridgework.

Tracey is keen to keep up to date with current approaches and undertakes cpd on a regular basis. She has also undertaken additional training in whitening procedures, laser and the provision of relative analgesia for nervous patients.

When not at work Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 boys who are 2, 4 and 7 years old.
